Jon Cryer, Ashton Kutcher and Angus T. Jones from "Two and a Half Men" all made Forbes' latest highest-paid actors' list.
There's money in laughter, at least for "Two and a Half Men" stars Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer, who topped Forbes' list of the highest-paid actors on television, released Tuesday.
Forbes estimates that Kutcher made $24 million between June 2012 and June 2013. He joined the show as tech billionaire Walden Schmidt in 2011, after Charlie Sheen's much-publicized departure.
Kutcher also starred as Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in the recent movie "Jobs," which made only $16 million. "Kutcher can absorb the blow," said Forbes. "He’ll earn even more as his episodes of 'Two and a Half Men' go into syndication, and there’s no reason for CBS to cancel the cash cow anytime soon."
Kutcher's co-star Cryer, who's been on the show since it began in 2003, was second on the list, with an earnings estimate of $16 million. Young co-star Angus T. Jones, just 19, was seventh on the list with $11 million in earnings. Jones left the show at the end of the 2012 season after making some controversial comments about "Men," including calling it "filth."
Ray Romano took third place behind Kutcher and Cryer, and is credited with $16 million. Mark Harmon of "NCIS" and Neil Patrick Harris of "How I Met Your Mother" tied for fourth at $15 million, followed by Patrick Dempsey of "Grey's Anatomy" at $13 million.
Forbes' numbers don't include just TV paychecks, but all "entertainment-related endeavors," the magazine notes.
